Manuel Kassouni has been a native of Cyprus. He was a prominent leader, educator, writer, publisher, intellectual and lay minister in the Armenian Evangelical church in Cyprus. He spend most of his life time in Cyprus contributing to Cyprus and Armenian communities likewise. He moved to USA in 1962 where he went for his eternal rest in 1974.
He is the father of Rev. Vartkes Kassouni and Mrs. Nevart Kassouni-Panayiotides. Mrs. Nevart Kassouni-Panayiotides lives in Cyprus where she had a long years of ministry service in education and church. She continues her ministry in various capacities.
A commemorative event took place on April 11th, 2011, in Nicosia, Cyprus during which Manuel Kassouni's recently published book was launched.
