Rebirth of Homenetmen in Sweden

AZAD-HYE (Dubai): Having the need of the presence of scout and sport activities in Sweden, a small group of Homenetmen brothers came together and after several productive meetings came to the decision on recreating Homenetmen chapter in Stockholm, Sweden.

At the meeting were present the chairman of the Homenetmen Central Committee Brother Karnig Megerdichian and the representative of Europe Brother Levon Baghdasarian.

After the opening ceremony of the meeting, the chairman of the Homenetmen committee of Sweden Brother Hagop Vartanian welcomed the members of the Homenetmen Central Committee and briefly presented the future program of Homenetmen Sweden.

A group of 65 members attended the meeting with a great interest on different sectors as Scouting and sports.

Brother Karnig presented briefly the history of Homenetmen including the structural section which followed with a number of questions by the public. Brother Levon as the representative of Europe welcomed the decision on recreating Homenetmen in Sweden and wished the best success on promoting the goals of Homenetmen.

Armenian Revolutionary Federations representative of Sweden congratulated Homenetmen Sweden committee and the members and offered the support.
