I had the great pleasure of attending the concert given at the ALAMO – MARINA CLUB by Mrs. Zovinar Mangassarian's institute for young musicians on Friday the 6th. of June 2003.
I was amazed at how much talent and abilities these children, ranging between 10 to 16 years old at the utmost, showed at the concert and at the degree of application they performed with. It shows once again that children, if appropriately counceled and properly monitored, can well produce future artists and virtuosos with all the meaning that these words can hold.
I was however schocked at the poor turnout of our Armenian Community, bearing in mind that the institute belongs to an Armenian lady of our Community and is run by Armenian teachers and hence deserves, according to my humble opinion, a greater interest from the members of our Abu-Dhabi Community.
I hope this message will reach attentive ears and stir a greater pride in what we Armenians can produce.
Thank you Mrs. Mangassarian and good luck in all your future endeavors. You deserve our highest admiration and support.
