In 2009, Dr. Armen Papazian was apointed as Head of Islamic Finance at UBS, Dubai International Financial Centre branch.
Prior to this, as Senior Vice President for Innovation and Development at Nasdac Dubai, Dr. Papazian led the market development efforts of the exchange.
Dr. Papazian earned his PhD at Cambridge, UK, specializing in Financial Economics.
