'Habitat for Humanity' Armenia Project

Habitat for Humanity Armenia

Habitat for Humanity is a nondenominational Christian, non-for-profit, not governmental organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing.

?

Habitat for Humanity Armenia operates through 3 affiliates in 9 regions of Armenia: Yerevan, Ararat, Armavir, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Gegharkunik, Lori, Tavoush and Vayots Dzor.

?

In April 2006, Habitat for Humanity and Armenian Apostolic Church signed an agreement of cooperation. Under this agreement, His Holiness Karekin II Work Project started. The goal is to complete 37 homes, symbolizing each Diocese and one for the Holy See, representing the Catholicos of all Armenians.

?

As the result of this project, 37 families moved into their new homes in the fall of 2006 before the harsh Armenian winter arrived.

?

We are promoting the same event for this year and we are looking for volunteers from the different communities/countries to join us for this event.

?

If you have any question please don't hesitate to get in touch.
