
On Sunday, 24th of December 2006, a liturgy and special ceremony for peace took place at the Saint George (Kevork) Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in Addis-Ababa, with the presence of Bishops and priests from the Ethiopian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Indian Orthodox and Ethiopian Evangelical churches.
The ceremony was held by Rev. Fr. Myron Sarkissian, Pastor of the Armenian Church Pastorate of Ethiopia. During his preach Father Myron talked about chaos, wars and confusion in the world and the need for peace, which Christ brought with His birth.
