In this age of modern Information Technology, when there?s the need to acquire new information almost every minute, when the information business has become a priority, it?s impossible to imagine life without the search engines.
As we all know, companies that are perching on top of the international pyramid of IT, like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft, have all been created and developed based on such information search engines, without the existence of which, the global net and the information field would be disorganized.
A lot has been said and written about the fact that the internet is expanding at the speed of lightning and that it has changed the way of our communication, the way we search for information and the methods of delivering and organizing businesses. The internet has helped us get rid of the obstacles lying on the path of developing business and economy.
Thanks to the internet, Armenians are able to benefit from certain information, also to organize and conduct businesses with their fellow Armenians around the globe.
At the same time, in Armenia, we are facing our own obstacles; it has been years now and the internet is still expensive and not available everywhere. As a result, we are straggling behind, unable to keep up with internet-related opportunities, which are reducing our chances to benefit from the above mentioned possibilities.
Let?s say you want to download and watch your favorite movie, this means that you?ll have to spend a very long time in front of your computer. And if you don?t have internet facilities at home, your only choice would be to go to an internet club, where prices are even higher and the service is much worse.
It has been a long time since the country?s leading providers started campaigns offering super speedy internet services at reasonable prices, but unfortunately, the results are again unsatisfactory.
We have been talking about such problems for years now. Many improvements have been suggested, promises have been given, but in the end, the results are the same, the user is always nervous, the connection is still slow and the prices still high.
How long before all this comes to an end? No one knows. The only certain thing is that in such conditions, our chances to benefit from the net is reducing, a fact that pleases absolutely no one.

Նվազում է ինտերնետից օգտվելու մեր հնարավորությունները

Ժամանակակից ինֆորմացիոն դարաշրջանում, երբ ամեն րոպե կարիք է զգացվում նոր տեղեկությունների և ինֆորմացիոն բիզնեսն աշխարհում առաջատար դիրքերի վրա է, անհնար է պատկերացնել կյանքն առանց որոնողական համակարգերի:
Ինչպես գիտենք, համաշխարհային բարձունքների վրա գտնվող այնպիսի ընկերություններ, ինչպիսիք են` Google, Yahoo կամ Microsoft ընկերությունները, ստեղծվել կամ զարգացել են հենց ինֆորմացիոն որոնողական համակարգերի հիման վրա, և առանց որոնց այսօր համաշխարհային ցանցը և տեղեկատվական դաշտը նման կլիներ բացարձակ քաոսի:
Շատ է գրվել և խոսվել այն մասին, թե ինչպիսի կայծակնային արագությամբ է ընդլայնվում Ինտերնետը, ինչպես նաև այն մասին, թե ինչպես է այն փոխել մեր հաղորդակցման, տեղեկությունների փնտրման, բիզնեսի կազմակերպման և մատուցման եղանակները: Ինտերնետը օգնել է մեզ հեռացնել արգելքները մասնագետների, բիզնեսի և տնտեսություների զարգացման ճանապարհին: Ի շնորհիվ Ինտերնետի հայերն արդեն կարող են օգտվել հատուկ տեղեկատվությունից, կազմակերպել և վարել բիզնես իրենց աշխարհասփյուռ բարեկամների և ընկերների հետ:
Միևնույն ժամանակ, Հայաստանում մենք հանդիպում ենք ուրույն խոչընդոտների` տարիներ շարունակ Ինտերնետը թանկ է և ոչ հուսալի ու ոչ ամեն տեղ հասանելի: Արդյունքում, Հայաստանը հետ է մնում Ինտերնետի մուտքի և շահագործման առումով, ինչն էլ իր հերթին նվազեցնում է վերը նշված առավելություններից օգտվելու մեր հնարավորությունները:
Քեզ դուր եկած ֆիլմը բեռնելու կամ այն դիտելու համար հարկ է լինում բավականին երկար ժամանակ վատնել համակարգչի առջև նստած: Իսկ եթե դու տանը չունես ինտերնետի հնարավորություն և ստիպված ես օգտվել Ինտերնետ ակումբների ծառայություններից, ապա գներն այստեղ ավելի թանկ են, իսկ արդյունքն ավելի վատը:
Բավականին երկար ժամանակ է, ինչ մեր երկրի առաջատար պրովայդերները գովազդաարշավի միջոցով առաջարկում են գերարագ ինտերնետ` բավական հարմար գներով, բայց այն միևնույն է չի ապահովում ցանկալի արագությունը:
Այս խնդրի մասին տարիներ է, ինչ խոսվում է, առաջարկվում բարեփոխումներ, խոստումներ տրվում, բայց վերջում արդյունքը կրկին նույնն է` լարված նյարդեր, դանդաղ կապ ու այդ ամենի հետ գումարած բավականին բարձր գներ:
ԹԵ ինչքան կշարունակվի այս ամենը, թերևս հայտնի չէ, միայն պարզ է այն, որ նման պայմաններում նվազում է ինտերնետից օգտվելու մեր հնարավորությունները, իսկ դա թերևս ոչ մեկի սրտով չէ:
