The website aims at highlighting the Armenian-Egyptian bilateral relations, the activities of the Embassy in political, economic, scientific and cultural domains, as well as plethora of consular services and related issues.

 

A special section of the website is devoted to the Armenian community in Egypt, its past history and present-day situation.
 
The website is unique in its kind, as it is the only electronic presence of an Armenian diplomatic mission in the Middle East. It is worth mentioning that there are 4 Armenian Embassies functioning in the Arab capitals (Beirut, Damascus, Cairo and Abu Dhabi) and one Consulate in Aleppo.

 

It is foreseen to add Arabic pages to the website in the future.

 

The Embassy already publishes a tri-monthly bulletin called “Akhbar Armenia” (News of Armenia). With the addition of this website, the media-related services of the Embassy are greatly enhanced, thus availing sufficient information on Armenia-Egypt, Armenia-Middle East relations and the foreign policy of the Republic of Armenia.

ԵԳԻՊՏՈՍՈՒՄ ՀՀ ԴԵՍՊԱՆՈՒԹՅԱՆ ՆՈՐ ԿԱՅՔԷՋԸ

 

Ս.թ. փետրվարի 1-ից գործում է Եգիպտոսում ՀՀ դեսպանության պաշտոնական ինտերնետային կայքէջը` http://www.armembegypt.com  հասցեով:

 

ՀՀ դեսպանության ինտերնետային կայքէջը լուսաբանելու է Հայաստան–Եգիպտոս երկկողմ հարաբերությունները, ՀՀ դեսպանության քաղաքական ու տնտեսական, գիտա–մշակութային գործունեությունը, ինչպես նաև հյուպատոսական ծառայություններին առնչվող հարցեր: Կայքէջում առանձին տեղ է հատկացված եգիպտահայ համայնքին ու նրա անցյալի պատմությանը:

 

Ներկայումս Մերձավոր և Միջին Արևելքի երկրներում հավատարմագրված ՀՀ դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչություններց Եգիպտոսում ՀՀ դեսպանությունը միակն է,  որ ունի ինտերնետային կայքէջ: Նախատեսվում է, որ ՀՀ դեսպանության կայքէջը առաջիկայում ներկայացվի նաև արաբերեն լեզվով:

 

Դեսպանության կողմից արդեն իսկ հրատարակվող ?Ախբար Արմենիա? արաբալեզու եռամսյակային պաշտոնական տեղեկագրի հետ մեկտեղ ինտերնետային կայքէջը կամբողջացնի դեսպանության քարոզչական գործունեությունը, որը միտված է իրազեկելու ոչ միայն Հայաստան–Եգիպտոս, Մերձավոր և Միջին Արևելքի երկրների հետ ՀՀ հարաբերությունները, այլև ՀՀ արտաքին քաղաքականության կարևոր իրադարձությունները:
