Why the British Stonehenge is far more renowned than the Armenian Karahunj

The Zorats Karer stones complex in Karahunj should be included in the list of monuments that UNESCO is trying to preserve. This is the conclusion that the Oxford University expedition members have come to. They were in Armenia from September 6th to the 27th conducting research, at the same time trying to assist the Armenian Government in order to see their conclusion come true and understand why the British Stonehenge is far more renowned than the Armenian Karahunj.

The members of the expedition are experts of different specialties, geographers, mathematicians and psychologists. They have all decided to clarify the fact as to what the ancient people were attempting to obtain by building the Zorats Karer.

The expedition members have photographed the site in detail, they also used laser photography which enables them to have the three dimensional image of the monument which in turn will be especially beneficial after natural or other disasters.

In order not to say that this is ours and what?s ours is definitely excellent, here is what Mr. Nicolas Howard ? the British member of the expedition says about the excellence of the monument: ?Compared to other similar European monuments, the location where the Zorats Karer were built is excellent. There are slots in between the stones which give us an idea about the different phases of the human development. These slots are also in total correspondence with the distribution of the stars in that region.?

After studying the traces left by humans, the Armenian member of the expedition – Mr. Vartan Balian says: ?It is not the quadrupeds that are disrupting the monument but the humans. All the damages that the monument has suffered from are the result of anthropogenic consequences.?
Going back to the issue, we ask again: Why does the British Stonehenge receive more than 4 million tourists annually, whereas no one knows where the Karahunj lies? Just as we often say about unmarried but beautiful and smart girls in Armenia.

It has already been two months since the expedition members sent a letter to the Armenian government, but they have not received any replies yet.

ինչո՞ւ է բրիտանական Stonehenge-ն ավելի հանրահայտ, քան մեր Քարահունջը

Քարահունջի Զորաց քարեր համալիրը պետք է ներառել ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՈ-ի կողմից պահպանվող հուշարձանների ցանկում: Այս եզրակացությանն են եկել Օքսֆորդի համալսարանի արշավախմբի անդամները: Նրանք Հայաստանում են սեպտեմբերի վեցից և մինչև նույն ամսվա 27-ն էլ դեռ կշարունակեն ուսումնասիրությունները: Միաժամանակ  կփորձեն աջակցել ՀՀ Կառավարությանն  իրենց եզրակացությունն իրականություն դարձնելու հարցում:

Արշավախմբի անդամները տարբեր մասնագիտություններ ունեցող փորձագետներ են` աշխարհագրագետներ, մաթեմատիկոսներ, հոգեբաններ: Այս մարդիկ որոշել են  պարզել և հասկանալ, թե ինչ են փորձել ստանալ հին մարդիկ Զորաց քարերը կառուցելով:

Արշավախումբը մանրամասն նկարահանումներ է կատարել և դեռ լազերային ֆոտոնկարահանումն էլ առջևում է: Վերջինս հնարավորություն կտա ունենալ հուշարձանի եռաչափ պատկերը, իսկ սա հատկապես օգտակար կլինի բնական կամ այլ աղետների հետևանքներից հետո:

Որպեսզի չասենք, թե մերն է, մենք էլ բացառիկ ենք համարում, հուշարձանի բացառիկության մասին արշավախմբի բրիտանացի անդամն /Նիկոլաս Հովարդ/ է խոսում. ?Եթե համեմատում ենք Եվրոպական նմանատիպ այլ հուշարձանների հետ, Զորաց քարերը բացառիկ տեղ է կառուցված: Քարերի մեջ փոքրիկ անցքր կան, որոնք գաղափար են տալիս մարդկության զարգացման տարբեր փուլերի մասին: Այդ անցքերը նաև ճշգրտորեն համապատասխանում են երկնքում աստղերի դասավորությանն այդ դարաշրջանում?:

Մարդկանց թողած հետքերն ուսումնասիրելուց հետո  մեր ժամանակների մարդկության որոշ ներկայացուիցիչների մասին արշավախմբի հայ անդամ Վարդան Բալյանն այս դատողությունն է անում. ?Հուշարձանը վնասում են ոչ թե չորքոտանի անասունները, այլ երկոտանիները: Բոլոր այն վնասվածքները, որոնք հասցված են հուշարձանին այս դարերի ընթացքում հիմնականում օնթրոպոգեն, այսինքն` մարդածին ազդեցության հետևանք են?:

Հիմա այն մասին, թե ինչու բրիտանական Stonehenge-ը տարեկան ավելի քան 4 մլն զբոսաշրջիկ է ընդունում, իսկ Քարահունջի տեղը ոչ ոք չգիտի, ինչպես հաճախ Հայաստանում ասում են չամուսնացած, բայց գեղեցիկ ու աշխատասեր աջկա մասին: Արդեն երկու ամիս է, ինչ արշավախմբի անդամները նամակ են ուղարկել ՀՀ Կառավարություն, բայց այդպես էլ պատասխան մինչև այսօր չեն ստացել:
