Mrs. Maro Nigoghosian has been living in the United Arab Emirates for several years. She is an expert in nutrition and author of several books and many articles on mental and physical well being and healthy lifestyle.
In modern times, nutrition subjects are very important, especially after experiments showed strong relationship between nutrition and behavior patterns like aggression and psychological situations like depression.
We believe that there is a great need to educate our community members on such topics, for the benefit of the individuals themselves and the society in general. After all, a healthy individual will be the core of a happy and balanced family.
In a letter to the Executive Council (Azkayin Varchoutyoun) we have taken the initiative to suggest inviting Nigoghosian for a series of lectures or workshop, hoping that the Council will look into the matter favorably.

Nutrition articles by Maro Nighogosian are available here (more articles to be added in the future).

Zak Valladian, born and brought up in Dubai, is a member of a group called Tebi Hayrenik or ?back to the motherland? that encourages diasporans to relocate to Armenia. He believes ?absolutely? more of them are doing what he did four months ago, and moving to the country.
?Change comes from within,? said the 30-year-old, who runs a special effects business. ?I do believe for Armenia?s sake, the only thing they can do is to encourage the diaspora to come and invest. It?s home from home for us.?

My name is Karnig Haladjian and I moved to Abu Dhabi less than a week ago. I am originally from the States and moved out here as part of a job assignment I recently took.
I was wondering if someone could provide me the location and detail of any Armenian community in this area as I would like to get involved.
Look forward to hearing from you.
