Interview with Armenia's bride show organizer- Anahit Tantushyan, Marketing Coordinator at Armenia Marriott Hotel in Yerevan.
– Dear Anahit, kindly tell us about Armenia's one and only Bride Show.
This is already the seventh year that we're holding the exhibition; it usually takes place in April or May, and it lasts for two days. This is a place, where designers present their latest bridal gown collection, wedding planner companies also take part and of course a big number of guests. This is a great opportunity for cooperation and getting to know new people in the field. The event is like a fairy tale; every year we decorate the hall in an innovative and a beautiful way in order to present the gowns in a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere. We've had 39 participants this year.
– And who are the main visitors of your event?
Media representatives, photographers, wedding planners and of course couples who're getting ready to wed. Everyone agrees that the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Photographers have the chance to take beautiful photos and couples get to choose from a variety of gowns and meet experts in the field. This year we have had over 3000 visitors.
– Since this is not only an exhibition but also a sale, do you sell a lot of wedding gowns?
Yes, a great number in fact. Couples come to spend a wonderful time, the atmosphere alone is very amusing, but it gets even more exciting when they buy a dress.
– What kind of dresses have you presented this time?
A variety of dresses. We have had different styles to please all kinds of tastes.
This is the only show-sale for bridal gowns in our country and everyone is free to take part in; everybody's welcome. The exhibition is held annually in Armenia-Marriott Hotel, located on the Republic Square, Yerevan.

-Հարգելի Անահիտ, պատմեք խնդրեմ Հայաստանում միակ`հարսանյաց զգեստների ցուցահանդեսի մասին:
Արդեն յոթերորդ տարին է, ինչ անց է կացվում ցուցահանդեսը, հիմնականում ապրիլ կամ մայիս ամսին`2 օրով: Սա մի վայր է, որտեղ դիզայներները ներկայացնում են իրենց հարսանյաց զգեստների հավաքածուները, մասնակցում են նաեւ հարսանյաց ծառայություններ մատուցող ընկերությունները եւ բազմաթիվ հյուրեր: Սա շատ լավ առիթ է`համագործակցելու եւ նոր կապեր հաստատելու: Միջոցառումը մեզ համար կարծես մի փոքրիկ հեքիաթ լինի, որի ժամանակ ամեն տարի նորովի զարդարվում են տաղավարները, եւ հարսանյաց զգեստները ներկայացվում են շքեղ ու նրբաճաշակ մթնոլորտում: Նշեմ նաեւ, որ այս տարի 39 մասնակից ունենք:
– Իսկ ովքե՞ր են միջոցառման հիմնական այցելուները:
Այցելում են թե լրատվամիջոցների ներկայացուցիչները, որոնց համար հաճելի է նման մթնոլորտում լինել, թե լուսանկարիչները, ովքեր հնարավորություն ունեն գեղեցիկ լուսանկարներ անելու եւ իհարկե`ամուսնանալ պատրաստվող զույգերը: Այս տարի 3000-ից ավելի այցելու ունենք:
-Քանի որ ցուցահանդես-վաճառք է, արդյոք շա՞տ են լինում զգեստ ձեռքբերողները:
Բավականին շատ, բայց եթե անգամ չեն գնում, միայն այս մթնոլորտը նրանց համար շատ հաճելի է լինում, իհարկե, հիանալի է, երբ նաեւ զգեստի ձեռքբերում է լինում:
-Այս անգամ ինչպիսի՞ զգեստներ են ներկայացվում:
Տարատեսակ, բազմաոճ զգեստներ են`հարմար տարբեր ճաշակի տեր մարդկանց համար: Սա հարսանյաց զգեստների միակ եւ խոշոր ցուցահանդես-վաճառքն է մեր երկրում, որին կարող են մասնակցել բոլոր ցանկացողները:
Ցուցահանդեսն ամենամյա է, անց է կացվում Երեւանում, Հանրապետության հրապարակում գտնվող Արմենիա Մարիոթ հյուրանոցում:
