On the 22nd of January 2012, The “Miss Grandma Universe 2012| beauty and talent pageant was held in Sofia, Bulgaria. The 51 year old Luisa Aghajanian, representing Armenia, took the first place.
– Dear Luisa, we congratulate you on the occasion of your victory, did you believe that this could happen?
Thank you, yes, I somehow believed that it is possible. I have always been able to maintain my good looks thanks to my positive attitude. I'm always happy and I keep dancing and exercising aerobics. I have never undergone any plastic surgeries, I do not use any creams and I've never gone on a diet.
– How did you decide to take part in this pageant?
I have dedicated 33 years of my life to my children. I'm very simple and kind hearted, I'm also a go-getter. I also believe a woman should never forget that she is a female and that she should think of her looks and femininity once in a while. When I heard about the pageant, I immediately decided to participate.
– And what prizes did you get?
Besides the crown, they granted me a seven-day paid sojourn.
– Would you tell us a bit about you and your family?
I am 51 years old. I have three children and two grandchildren. I'm originally from Alavert. I'm a pedagogue and a dance-teacher by profession. My family wasn't really thrilled about the idea at first, but when they saw how much I wanted to be in the pageant, they not only agreed but also encouraged and supported me.
– What were your feelings when they announced your name as the winner?
I was overjoyed and flattered. 300 grannies from all over the world took part in the pageant; only 25 of which qualified to the second round and 15 to the third and last round. All of them were pretty and talented, but I was the one to be crowned in the end, for which I am extremely happy.

Բուլղարիայի մայրաքաղաք Սոֆիայում հունվարի 22-ին կայացել է ?Miss Grandma Universe-2012? գեղեցկության, տաղանդի միջազգային մրցույթ-փառատոնը: Առաջին տեղն է զբաղեցրել Հայաստանը ներկայացնող 51-ամյա Լուիզա Աղաջանյանը:
– Հարգելի Լուիզա, շնորհավորում եմ հաղթանակի կապակցությամբ: Հավատում էիք ձեր հաղթանակին:
Շատ շնորհակալ եմ: Որոշ չափով հավատում էի, իհարկե: Ասեմ, որ իմ արտաքինը պահպանվել է այն բանի շնորհիվ, որ միշտ ուրախ եմ, զբաղվում եմ պարով եւ աէրոբիկայով: Ավելացնեմ նաեւ, որ պլաստիկ վիրահատություններ չունեմ, քսուքներ չեմ օգտագործում, դիետաներ երբեք չեմ պահել:
– Իսկ ինչպե՞ս որոշեցիք մասնակցել մրցույթին:
33 տարի նվիրել եմ իմ երեխաներին, բնավորությամբ շատ պարզ եմ, մեծահոգի, նպատակասլաց : Սակայն կարծում եմ, որ կինը երբեք չպետք է մոռանա, որ ինքը գեղեցիկ սեռի ներկայացուցիչ է եւ չպետք է զբաղվի միայն կենցաղով: Երբ ես իմացա մրցույթի մասին, որոշեցի անպայման փորձել ուժերս:
– Իսկ ի՞նչ մրցանակ ստացաք:
Բացի թագից, ինձ նվիրեցին յոթօրյա անվճար ուղեգիր:
– Մի փոքր կպատմեք ձեր եւ ձեր ընտանիքի մասին:
Իհարկե, սիրով: Ես 51 տարեկան են, ունեմ 3 երեխա եւ 2 թոռնիկ: Ալավերդի քաղաքից եմ, մասնագիտությամբ` մանկավարժ-պարուսույց: Ընտանիքս այնքան էլ կողմ չէր իմ մասնակցությանը, սակայն ի վերջո հասկացան, որ ցանկությունս մեծ է` մասնակցելու այդ մրցույթին եւ ոչ միայն համաձայնեցին, այլեւ` աջակցեցին ինձ:
– Ի՞նչ զգացողություններ ունեցաք, երբ հայտարարեցին, որ դուք եք հաղթել:
Շատ ուրախացա եւ հուզվեցի: Մրցույթին մասնակցում էին աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներից 300 տատիկներ, երկրորդ փուլում մնացել էին 25 հոգի, իսկ երրորդում`15: Բոլորն էլ գեղեցիկ էին ու տաղանդավոր, բայց հաղթանակն ինձ շնորհվեց, որի համար անչափ ուրախ եմ:
