Chinese – Armenian relations discussed at a conference in Scotland

Dr. Mher Sahakyan, the Director of the “China-Eurasia Council for Political and Strategic Research,” was among the participants at the “The Joint East Asian Conference”, held at Edinburgh University from 3-6 September 2019.

The academic conference was organized by the University of Edinburgh and the British Association for Chinese Studies, with the participation of selected scholars.

On 05 September 2019, Dr. Sahakyan presented his research on “The Prospects of Development of Sino-Armenian Political and Military Cooperation in the Framework of Belt and Road Initiative”.

The presentation was followed by a discussion on both the topic of research and the methods used by the researcher.

Dr. Mher Sahakyan has completed his Ph.D. in the field of international relations at Nanjing University in China. He is the author of the “China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Armenia” book, which was published in Armenian and Russian languages.
